What is the Introduction to WRAP course?


WRAP® is an evidence-based, structured system for monitoring, reducing and eliminating uncomfortable and distressing feelings and behaviors and, through planned responses, reducing, modifying or eliminating them.  The program involves:

  • learning about the key recovery concepts

  • creating a toolbox of strategies to address the issue

  • becoming able to identify early warning signs and detect triggers that have or can lead to unsuccessful behaviors

  • creating and implementing a plan of action for preventing and addressing the undesirable behaviors

  • and implementing the concept of learning, unlearning and relearning behaviors through continual plan analysis and modification
